Social network promotion offers free BroadcastByEmail license
Mountain View, CA, March 26, 2012--Voicent is offering to trade free licenses for its BroadcastByEmail software for anyone who tries the tool and then recommends it on social networks.
The promotion, which represents the first time Voicent has ventured into the world of social media, is aimed at charities, faith communities and other nonprofit organizations. However, any person or organization can take advantage of it.
Essentially, the promotion involves downloading a free trial of the newly redesigned email broadcasting software, installing and testing it.
If the trial goes well and the tester would like to continue using it, he or she need only "like" Voicent on Facebook and "g+1" Voicent on Google+. Optionally, users can also "recommend" Voicent on Linked-In.
In return for the recommendations, Voicent will issue a free BroadcastByEmail software license to the tester. The software normally sells for $499.
In addition to publicizing its array of communication software, the company is using the promotion to try to help small businesses and nonprofit organizations employ a powerful sales and customer relationship management tool.
Voicent's BroadcastByEmail tool is a powerful bulk emailer that enables organizations to easily broadcast promotional offers or newsletters to customers and prospective customers.
Once it is setup, the software enables users to, with a single click, broadcast an unlimited number of personalized emails and automatically track when or if they are opened.
The software will also automatically handle bounced emails and manage un-subscribe requests.
BroadcastByEmail broadcasts both simple text emails, and color- and photograph-rich HTML email.
