COBURG, Germany, July 5, 2016 -- Outertech has released StartEd 5.60 Windows Startup Editor and Trojan Horse detector.
Outertech has released StartEd 5.60, a Windows startup editor which recognizes startup programs and system services that are either obsolete or memory hogs. StartEd detects more than 200 Trojan Horses, the most destructive and dangerous species of computer viruses.
StartEd displays detailed description for every system service so that even novice users are able to manage their startup configuration. A warning message will be displayed when a system service vital for your computer's stability is about to get disabled. You get also the ability to uninstall programs directly from StartEd.
Version 5.60 of Started introduces Windows 10 compatibility. Additionaly service notes can be edited by the user.

StartEd is available in two editions. StartEd Lite (Freeware) and StartEd Pro ($18.95 for single computer license).
StartEd Pro contains all features of StartEd Lite. In addition it can backup and restore your startup configuration. StartEd Pro can be tested for 30 days with all features enabled.
System Requirements: Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista or XP (32 and 64 bit)
StartEd is available in English, German, French, Spanish, and seven other languages.
