Hotel Management Software November 2016 Update Features Tax Rate Options Hotel Owners
iMagic Software releases their latest regular update for this month for hotel owners based on customer comments and feedback
New York, NY-9 November 2016. New update for iMagic Hotel Reservation v5.83 released November 2016. It highlights International Tax Support and Hospitality Charge, hotel cleaning list and linkage to other systems.
"Our regular release cycle is based on our customer feedback, we received a strong interest for additional tax options while not sexy they will provide support for small hotel owners that they haven't received before.", shares Jon Walker, official company representative and head of IT.
While managing, day-to-day activities can be tough for small hotels iMagic Hotel Reservation is a software program that makes those processes easier. "We're not saying we can run your hotel for you, but we can take care of 99% of the administration and paper work." Adds Jon Walker in a slightly disturbingly excited manner. Feature updates are requested by their existing customer base, real people who use the software day to day. New features will be relevant and are needed.
New tax rate options allow companies across the sea to use our software, or where states have enacted additional hospitality taxes. The new option is compounded and automatically added to the total as the reservation is made, this ensures the totals are timely and error free.
Important work of cleaning has also been made a priority, instead of cleaning every room each day the software can provide a report on the status of each room that the cleaners can take with them on their rounds. Knowing which rooms have just been vacated and how long a guest has been in a room is invaluable in saving time each day. The updated Cleaning List provides an automated report of when rooms need to be cleaned and their current status.
Links to other systems are often overlooked when choosing a hotel reservation system, however they quickly come into play down the track. Tax needs to be paid and having the ability to export out open directly in the accounting software saves a great deal of time for the hotel owner. Likewise, marketing benefits from exporting customer details and opening in Excel or an email system. The Customer Export has been updated to include additional options.
