You can boot up from the image and carry out various startup repair tasks. There's also a partition recovery tool as well as a file manager for accessing and managing data which would otherwise not be easily accessible.
Data can be backed up to other media. Active@ Boot Disk also provides a CD and DVD burning utility for this purpose. If you want to securely erase data so that it can never again be recovered, Active@ Boot Disk provides the tools that you need. There are also many other tools provided within the bootable environment such as a HEX editor, registry editor, text editor and much more.
