CADSoftTools Announces the Release of CADEditorX 14
CADSoftTools is happy to announce the release of CADEditorX 14, a new version of the ActiveX component that is compatible with such popular programming languages as C#, VB.NET, VC++, Delphi, HTML/JavaScript and others.
This version contains major improvements and new features designed to make your CADEditorX experience better.
The full list of CADEditorX 14 improvements includes:
Improved display of 3D files:
- creating a section view of 3D models;
- new mode of surface display: Hidden lines;
- tool to adjust a level of transparency of a 3D model;
- 3D object visualization options: Edges, Wireframe, Surface;
- display of a 3D model bounding box and its overall dimensions;
- STEP to IGES/IGES to STEP converter;
- anti-aliasing in 3D modes;
- improved reading of SAT, OBJ and STL files.
Improved import of DWG and DXF files:
- added support of annotative objects;
- added reading of hyperlinks for entities;
- improved Insert support;
- improved Clipping support;
- improved Texts and MTexts support;
- improved display of SHX fonts;
- speeded up loading of DXF files;
Export to AutoCAD DWG 2010.
- Improved export of PDF files:
- added saving of fonts;
- added option for saving to raster PDF files.
Improved work via XML API;
Other improvements:
- added option for automatic regeneration;
- improved import of DWF, HPGL, CGM and SVG files;
- extended features of G-code generation from DWG and DXF files;
- improved comparison of DWG and DXF files: new comparison settings and capability to print out results of comparison;
- optimized batch conversion of files;
- new mode of grid displaying;
- object layer map allowing to automatically adjust distribution of entities by layers;
- improved import of DWF, HPGL, CGM and SVG files;
- snap mode in inserts;
