reaConverter 7 Presents Batch Image Conversion that Runs in Background
ReaSoft announces a new release of its high-speed image batch converter and editor, reaConverter 7.
The update delivers the Watch Folders feature facilitating easy automation of the most image conversion tasks like resizing, color adjustment, retouching etc. In addition, the new version provides support for Microsoft Office Documents.
What is a typical procedure of a photographer editing images? Open a RAW file, crop it to a paper format, adjust hue, saturation and brightness, apply filters, save as PNG or JPEG, rinse, repeat. Definitely not the most creative work in the world. What about
illustrators and web designers? They constantly need to change the format, resize and rotate pictures. Also, a dull mechanical task.
The new update of reaConverter 7 lets creative people do what they should - create - taking the most of routine operations upon itself. The feature is called Watch Folders, and that´s what it does: watches folders containing images for new or modified files
and instantly applies predefined actions to them. Working invisibly in the background, reaConverter´s Watch Folders feature allows a user to resize, crop, adjust brightness and colors, add watermarks and otherwise alter images of 400+ supported formats that landed in the specified source folder.
Another important novelty of the new version is support for Microsoft Office Document formats including DOC, DOCX and RTF. Now users of reaConverter can easily transform documents in these formats to single-page JPG, PNG or BMP files or to multi-page postscript documents - TIFF and PDF.
Equipped with an extremely fast multi-thread conversion engine, reaConverter is one of the most performing utilities on the market. And the number of advanced options including easy saving of the resulting images to cloud storages, command line execution for superior integration to server-side solutions and wide range of artistic filters makes this software a worthy choice, hands down.
