VintaSoft Ltd releases the next major version 8.4 of its Imaging .NET SDK, which includes some brand new functionality along with lots of enhancements and improvements.
The new Web API controllers, HTTP handlers, WCF services, HTML5 and SVG controls written in JavaScript, along with a set of JavaScript classes to simplify work with web services, provide easy to handle solution for image and thumbnail processing and rendering in ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, HTML and HTML5.
The revised printing algorithm, the newly created JavaScript classes and so implemented printing of PDF documents in vector form increased the overall image print performance and reduced the memory usage.
Visual interaction with PDF document has been so much extended that it is offered now the new edition of VintaSoft PDF .NET Plug-in - PDF Visual Editor. Now is possible to view, create and edit PDF annotations and interactive form fields visually, assign and perform JavaScript actions, edit the PDF tree of basic objects.
The VintaSoft DICOM .NET Plug-in functionality has been complemented with ability to edit DICOM metadata and annotate DICOM images in WinForms and WPF applications. The supported DICOM annotations: Point, Polyline, Interpolated, Ellipse, Multiline, Rangeline, Arrow, Rectangle, Text.
The new release also includes various performance and quality improvements in Web Image Viewers with ability to annotate images, processing of document images in web, work with PDF fonts and PDF content rendering. The broad set of existing demo applications has been revised, optimized and complemented with new WpfDicomViewerDemo, AspNetDemos and AspNetMvcDemos project.
VintaSoft's test system, containing tens of thousands automated and manual tests, is specially designed for delivering the most stable versions of our Imaging Family products for .NET, WPF and WEB to the software components market. We have developed a large set of demo applications, created the detailed user guide and reference API documentation with only one intention - to make easier the life of programmers working with our SDK.
