ACEX Easily Ships Cargo to Any Destination
Manufacturer of “lightsabers” and other equipment for laser tag has become ACEX customer at the New Year’s Eve, right before the world premiere of the new episode of the famous cosmic saga. It was required to ship 100 kilos of equipment for laser tag to Tehran. The urgency and time of shipment – the New Year’s Eve required high speed and a lot of determination from the experts.
“The difficulty related to the transportation to Tehran was the requirement to enter the quotation into the airlines system and send the recipient’s ID in the process of transportation itself, “Yuriy Orlov, expert at Airfreight Department says. “Thanks to our efficient fully automated processes we managed to do it on time and despite the busy season the cargo was delivered without delay”.
The second batch was shipped to Bangkok in January. The cargo included lithium batteries and hence it was shipped as dangerous goods (9th class). “Of course there are some peculiarities, rules and regulations related to work with Iran,” the managing director of Farasoobar Int’l Forwarder & Shipping Agency Farzad Saffarzadeh says. “All importers should obtain permission from the relevant ministries (Ministry of commerce for whole import and other ministries depending on products, HS CODE and commodity). Consignees should obtain all relevant permissions prior to arrival of the cargo.”
According to Farzad Saffarzadeh the Bank Melli of Iran has established its branch in Moscow, and it can significantly reduce the service charges during bank operations. And for the development of Russian-Iranian trades it is also necessary to organize meetings in Iran in order to get information about the actual situation in the sphere of logistics.
