Users of the full-featured Ultimate package can enjoy the new and improved Active@ Boot Disk software, which provides a barebones operating system based on the familiar Windows Preinstallation Environment. This allows you to boot up computers and run recovery operations independently. It is based on the latest Windows 10 Build 1903 to provide a familiar and modern user experience. It now fully supports SATA and PCIE NVMe M.2 solid state drives as well. The software works with any Windows operating system, but also recovers data from file systems used by Linux and macOS.
Other improvements include improved recovery for NTFS drives on volumes in Windows Storage Spaces, as well as on disks with 4KB sector sizes. It also offers greater stability when working with failing disks, such as solid-state drives which are reaching the end of t heir lifespans. Another welcome improvement is the addition of two new predefined file signatures, allowing you to locate and recover Canon Raw Image (CR3) and Finale Notation (MUSX) files. Finally, the welcome and registration screens have been overhauled to provide a more user-friendly experience. On top of that, there are many new tweaks and minor bug fixes which together ensure you can enjoy the best chances possible of getting back the data you've lost.
